By creating an account or using ClickTaxEasy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

ClickTaxEasy is a tax education and tools platform that provides:

• AI-powered tax question answering for US-based 1099 workers
• Income and expense tracking tools
• Tax estimates and calculations (educational purposes only)
• Quarterly tax deadline reminders
• Tax deduction guidance and tools

3. Not Professional Tax Advice

All content, calculations, and responses provided by ClickTaxEasy are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute:

• Professional tax advice
• Legal advice
• Accounting services
• Tax preparation or filing services

Tax laws are complex and vary by individual circumstances. Always consult a licensed CPA or tax professional before making financial decisions based on information from ClickTaxEasy.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Subscription and Payments

• The Free plan is available at no cost with limited features
• The Pro plan is billed monthly at the current rate ($5/mo founding price, subject to change for new subscribers)
• Founding member pricing is locked for the duration of an active subscription
• Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store payment information
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
• You may cancel at any time. No refunds for partial months

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer or scrape the platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the service to prepare or file tax returns on behalf of others commercially

7. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of tax information and calculations. However, tax laws change frequently. We do not guarantee that all information is current, complete, or accurate. You use the service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClickTaxEasy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to tax penalties, underpayments, or filing errors.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@clicktaxeasy.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
